Corsets by Jillian

My interest in corsets comes from alternative fashion, period pieces, and historical portraiture. I began making corsets about 7 years ago when I discovered how expensive they were. I had a basic knowledge of sewing from a few sewing classes, but I am largely self taught. I began from patterns and eventually began to draft my own patterns. I have also done a few full ensembles as well and enjoy creating the whole outfit from the corset out. I am also a portrait painter and corsets are often the focus of my work.
